VOORHEESVILLE-ALBANY ANIMAL CLINIC
Your Companion’s Welfare is Our Highest Priority
Our Philosophy
With our combined 50 years of experience, the Albany veterinarians at The Village Animal Clinic promise to treat all pets with the utmost compassion, respect, and consideration. Your companion’s welfare is our highest priority. We believe all animals have a right to expect gentle handling and quality pet care. This philosophy guides each team member in all we do to promote the care and healing of your cherished friend.
Our Greater Albany Area Animal Clinic
The Village Animal Clinic, servicing Voorheesville and Albany, New York, has earned a reputation for providing state-of-the-art Albany area veterinary care by a service-oriented staff that continually meets and exceeds our client’s expectations. We are pet owners and understand your pet is a unique and important family member. We also understand how important it is to you that your pet always receives the best medical care at a reasonable price.
The Village Animal Clinic strives to provide the latest technological and medical protocols while ensuring that you are informed and have a voice in the care of your pet. By understanding healthcare options, we believe you can make choices that best suit your pet’s needs. We aim to combine the latest in modern veterinary care with old-fashioned personal care and service.
As animal care professionals, we understand that the best way to provide your pet with a long, happy, and healthy life — while keeping veterinary costs down — is through preventive care. Comprehensive wellness exams, combined with a balanced approach to vaccinations, are the cornerstones of your pet’s health care at The Village Animal Clinic. We also provide and recommend thorough dental care, personalized puppy/kitten and senior wellness examinations, dermatologic and cardiac care, parasite screening and control protocols, AVID microchipping, a full range of diagnostic services, and more.
However, preventive care does not begin and end at our facility. When you come in for an appointment, you receive important home healthcare advice, new information, and recommendations for the care of your specific type and breed of pet.
Albany Exotic/Pocket Pet Care
In addition to companion animals, we also treat and provide consultations for pocket pets (guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, hamsters, rats, and mice), exotic pets (sugar gliders, chinchillas, chelonians (turtles), lizards, and snakes), and a variety of avian species. Because these animals have such precise and specialized needs and few veterinarians are interested in their proper care and husbandry, The Village Animal Clinic prides itself on offering quality health care for these “unusual” companions.
All of us at The Village Animal Clinic are very proud of the reputation we have earned for the quality of veterinary care we provide to our Albany clients and their pets. We mean it when we say that we treat your pet as if they were our own.
